Michele Karopczyk

I've always been an artist. However, after childhood, I let art take a back seat. Occasional doodles would sneak out, but there were always more important things to do. As life went on, it became harder to ignore the urge to create. At 50 I gave in and began to paint. I lose myself for hours in the meditative process. There is little intention. If I start with a plan, it more often than not becomes something completely different. I just let it happen. It can be messy. It is a joyful process. Each work is a piece of my heart.

I am pleased to now offer prints of my work, as well as products made from prints.

New works are featured on Facebook and Instagram.
